Turning wild energy into happy miles and calm dogs — GPS-tracked, DPT-designed, trail-tested.
What We Are
Run. Dog. Run. is structured canine fitness — not pet care, not a walk. Every session is intentional, paced, and tracked.

The Process
Road, trail, or mixed. 30, 60, or 90 minutes.
Dog profile, health history, and digital waiver completed online.
In-person temperament check and fitness assessment before run #1.
Paced, structured session. Pickup from home or agreed spot.
Route, pace, distance, elevation, and runner notes — same day.
Built for These Dogs
Certain breeds are wired for high output. Without adequate exercise, that energy doesn't disappear — it becomes anxiety, destructive behavior, and frustration. A 20-minute walk doesn't cut it for a dog built to run 30 miles a day. That's exactly where we come in.
Consistent, purposeful running directly impacts your dog's mental state, joint health, sleep quality, and emotional wellbeing. It's not a luxury — for certain dogs, it's a necessity.

The Person Behind the Leash
I'm Jordan Allison — a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and the founder of Run Dog Run. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and studied at Western Washington University before traveling solo to Tanzania for international relief work — supporting communities affected by poverty and human trafficking, teaching, and connecting with people whose resilience left a mark on everything I do.
I went on to earn my DPT from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and completed an Orthopedic Residency at Saint Louis University. Then I spent a year in Japan — running, cycling, exploring, teaching, and absorbing a culture that finds beauty in simplicity and intention in movement. That year shaped the aesthetic and spirit of this brand more than I realized at the time.
Running found me in 2020, during one of the most significant pivots of my life. What started as a way to move through something hard has become a six-year journey that hasn't stopped — and counting. I'm a competitive trail ultramarathon runner and cyclist who has raced 100Ks in Colorado's high country, 50-milers, mountain stages across New Zealand's South Island and Tanzania. Movement is medicine. I believe that completely.
The name Run Dog Run? That came from my daughters. I have never loved anyone or anything more than those two — and when they said the name out loud, that was it. They are the heart of this, even if they don't fully know it yet.
And while I bring the clinical expertise and the miles, I hold onto one thing above all: nobody knows your dog better than you. We want you to feel heard, respected, and in control — and we'll always give you our honest professional perspective, knowing the decisions are ultimately yours.

Our Philosophy
We bring expertise in running, exercise physiology, and canine movement. But we never lose sight of something equally important: nobody knows your dog better than you.
That knowledge is invaluable — and we want to hear it. Whether your dog had a rough night, is feeling off, or you simply want to try a different route or dial back the pace, your input shapes every session. We're here to collaborate, not override.
We'll always give you our honest expert perspective. But ultimately, every decision about your dog is yours. Our job is to give you the information and support to make the best ones.
Adjust, pause, or change any session. Your comfort level — and your dog's — always comes first.
Tell us what worked, what didn't, what your dog loved. That information makes every run better.
We'll share what we know and recommend what we think is best. But we respect that you make the call.
Every recommendation we make comes from one place — genuine care for your dog's health and happiness.
Before You Book
We work with a wide range of dogs — but not every dog is ready for a structured run right away. Here's a quick guide to help you know where your dog stands.

Most owners are surprised to learn how much exercise their dog actually needs. A Border Collie needs 2–3 hours of vigorous activity per day. A Vizsla: 2+ hours. A Husky: 2 hours minimum. A Lab: 1–2 hours. The average dog walk covers 20–30 minutes — often at a pace too slow to count as real exercise for working breeds. Under-exercised dogs don't misbehave because they're "bad" — they're bored, frustrated, and physically understimulated. A structured run changes that.
After your intake, we'll send you a personalized exercise profile for your dog's specific breed and age.
These preferences guide every session — and you can update them anytime. Nothing is locked in until we've done the meet & greet together.
Remember: You can adjust speed, terrain, distance, or focus at any time — even same-day. Just message us. Nothing about your dog's runs is ever set in stone.
Please read this agreement carefully before signing. This is a legally binding document. If you have questions, contact us before submitting.

2. ASSUMPTION OF INHERENT RISK
Client acknowledges that participation in canine running activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical injury to the dog (strains, sprains, lacerations, paw injuries, heat-related illness); dog-to-dog altercations; environmental hazards (uneven terrain, weather conditions, wildlife encounters, traffic); exertion-related health events; and unforeseen circumstances beyond the Service Provider's control. Client voluntarily and knowingly assumes all such risks on behalf of themselves and their dog.
3. CLIENT (OWNER) LIABILITY & REPRESENTATIONS
Client accepts full financial and legal responsibility for any injury, property damage, or incident caused by their dog to a third party, another animal, or any person during or in direct connection with Run Dog Run services. 4. EXCEPTIONS — THIRD-PARTY NEGLIGENCE
Client's liability under Section 3 does not extend to incidents directly and solely caused by the provable negligence of a third party — including an off-leash dog approaching unprovoked, a reckless cyclist or pedestrian, or the demonstrably negligent conduct of another dog owner. 6. VETERINARY HEALTH AUTHORIZATION
Client confirms their dog is in suitable physical health for the intensity of exercise selected, is current on required Colorado vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and as recommended by their veterinarian), and has no undisclosed medical conditions that would contraindicate vigorous physical activity. In the event of an emergency during a session, Client authorizes Run Dog Run to transport the dog to the nearest veterinary facility and to authorize emergency treatment on Client's behalf. Client accepts full financial responsibility for all resulting veterinary costs. Run Dog Run is not a veterinary or medical service.
7. GPS TRACKING & DATA USE
Client consents to GPS tracking of all run sessions for safety monitoring, post-run reporting, and service improvement purposes. Session data (route, pace, distance, elevation) will be shared with the Client following each session. Anonymized aggregate data may be used internally. Client may opt out of all photography and media by unchecking the consent box below. Opt-out will be noted on Client's permanent file.

Same-day no-show (runner arrives, dog not available): full session fee charged. Run Dog Run reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unsafe weather, poor air quality (AQI), extreme temperatures, trail closures, or other safety-related conditions at no cost to the Client. Prepaid bundles and membership sessions cancelled by Run Dog Run due to safety conditions will be rescheduled, not forfeited.
10. INDEMNIFICATION
Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Run Dog Run LLC, Jordan Allison, and any affiliated runners from and against any claims, actions, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) Client's breach of any representation in this Agreement; (b) injury, damage, or loss caused by Client's dog during services; or (c) Client's provision of false or incomplete intake information.
11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be subject to good-faith mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Larimer County, Colorado, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorneys' fees.
12. SEVERABILITY & ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. This Agreement, together with the completed intake form, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior communications.
